“Salvador, the blackest city outside of Africa!”
Brazil began in Bahia, whose capital is a cradle of African heritage in the formation of Brazilian culture and identity. Salvador is a magical city, connected by the charms of Bahia de Todos os Santos (Bay of all Saints) and the majestic lighthouses that illuminate from Monte Serrat, Barra, up to Itapuã. Popularly known as Black Rome, due to its countless Terreiros de Candomblé (Candomblé Temples) and expressions of AfroBrazilian religions, this city captivates everyone with its cuisine, music and musicality, dance, its diverse beaches, but above all, the hospitality of the Bahian people. Welcome to your new home!
